At First Church, we interpret the following scripture to mean that the church should be focused on Making Disciples, Sharing the Sacraments, and Teaching the Faith.

First Methodist Church's ministry to families is rooted in its ministry to children.

Chosen is a community-oriented organization that empowers universities, hospitals, churches, and individuals through the provision of community projects, campaigns, and healthcare items and surgical equipment that inspire overall wellness, rehabilitation, and mobility. 

The church mice are congregation members who send you notes and cards of encouragement.

A project designed to spread awareness and education about suicide through speakers and presentations, as well as providing a safe place for people to express themselves.

To build and retain a love of learning, to encourage independence and creativity, to foster self-confidence and imagination, to develop pride in reaching goals and a sense of personal responsibility, and to promote kindness and acceptance through the compassion of Christ.

DivorceCare is a 13-week Christ-centered program featuring nationally recognized
experts on divorce and recovery topics from a Christian perspective through DVDs and a
participant notebook.

John Wesley, the founder of the early Methodist movement, encouraged us to grow in our faith by "doing good of every possible sort, and, as far as possible, to all" (General Rules).

A GriefShare support group is a safe welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. 

The support group's mission is to provide a supportive, safe, non-judgmental, and confidential environment in a Christ-centered program.

Moms of Minis is a group of moms who will meet on the first and third Wednesdays of the month in the Covert Room from October through May for fellowship, faith, and fun.

Community Meals are served on Mondays from

4:30 PM - 6:00 PM. 

All in our community are welcome to attend these Meals at no cost. No reservations are needed.

a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization.

Welcomes crafters of all varieties willing to share their talents through gifts of love. 

The Ramp Ministry serves those with a short—or long-term need. Ramps are semi-permanent and can be relocated if no longer needed.

At Vacation Bible School, Children will learn the essential parables Jesus taught.  They will also participate in music and worship.

We at First Methodist Church have a busy Youth Fellowship  dedicated to camaraderie, community service and education.
